Jackson Bowl
The Jackson County Chamber is sponsoring the inaugural Jackson Bowl Challenge between the Brownstown Town Board and the Seymour City Council. This challenge has been created as a friendly competition between the two municipalities related to the Jackson Bowl high school football game between the Brownstown Central Braves and Seymour Owls on Friday, September 24. The board/council representing the winning team will have the privilege of presenting their home team shirts to the board/council representing the losing team. The losing team will, in turn, wear the winning team shirts at an upcoming meeting of their board/council.
Quote from Dan: "The Jackson Bowl Challenge is just a fun way to spark some friendly competition between the Town of Brownstown and the City of Seymour. The Chamber is always looking for ways to connect different areas of Jackson County, but our sports rivalries run deep, so we want to honor those traditions and make it a little more interesting."
