It is a story about the mystery surrounding the death of revered artist Vincent van Gogh. The film took over six years to make by more than 125 international artists from over 20 countries. Over 65\,000 oil painted frames were created in Breakthru Film studios in Poland and Greece. Carefully selected artists were required to pass a rigorous three-day test then were certified after 180 hours of training in painting animation in the style of Vincent van Gogh.\n\n\n\nIndianapolis artist and muralist\, Pamela Bliss\, who painted the John Mellencamp mural in downtown Seymour was among these 125 artists.\n\n\n\n"I was thrilled to be selected to travel to Poland and help paint on the film. I worked and lived with the other artists from all over the world\," Bliss said. "It was an experience I will never forget. That is why I wanted to bring our personal works together and showcase them."\n\n\n\nA true labor of love\, artists from various backgrounds came together to produce a lasting tribute to one of the greatest artists of all time. It was a massive team effort which created a bond among the artists who lived and worked together\, erasing cultural boundaries. No matter their own artistic styles\, they painted in the colorful\, impressionistic style and often with the heart of van Gogh.\n\n\n\nThis art exhibit features the personal works of many of the film artists\, including the film's creator and director\, Dorota Kobiela. Various styles and genres are represented in the work. Some have stayed true to their original work and some of the work reflects their van Gogh influence.\n\n\n\nThe title of the exhibit\, "We Cannot Speak Other Than By Our Paintings"\, is a quote from one of the many letters van Gogh had written before his death.\n\n\n\nAll the paintings in the show are stamped with an official mark indicating a work by a certified "Loving Vincent" Painter.
