SPARK Tank Application
Any resident of Jackson County is qualified to submit ONE business proposal or idea for a chance to win up to $10,000!
Finalists will be selected by the SPARK Jackson County Team one month in advance of the competition. Each finalist will be given a coach to help the finalist develop a final pitch deck that will include elements such as team, problem & solution, business model, marketing etc. Each finalist will be given 5 minutes to pitch, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A with a panel of judges.
SPARK Tank Judges will focus on these critical elements:
Team – team experience in place (business, product, sales, etc.)
Customer Discovery – knowledge of industry, potential customers, and sales, etc
Opportunity – the longevity, actualization and profitability of the idea
Creativity – the differentiation, originality and uniqueness of the idea, preference will be given to ideas/business that are >5 years old
Rules and Criteria
Rules and Criteria may be revised at any time at the sole discretion of all related competition hosts and funders.
Participants may only enter one pitch for the SPARK Tank Competition.
If there are multiple founders, only one person will be allowed to pitch to the panel.

Preference will be given to residents of Jackson County (founder or co-founder) and those that are committed to establishing their business in Jackson County.
